Boomkat - Going up?

One of the main facets of my job at Default is being part of a team developing for and maintaining a website called Boomkat.

Boomkat is an online retailer that sells electronic and independent music, primarily via mailorder but as of recently also through downloads.

This is perfect for me as through happy coincidence I love a lot of the music that Boomkat sells. I get to have exposure to a lot of new and great things just through doing my job each week.

Now it’s not a great mental leap to deduce that other people may like this music and find and appreciate the site as a resource for finding and hopefully buying it, but for some reason I’m still surprised whenever anyone tells me they know Boomkat exists.

This then, blew my mind!

Not only does the site exist according to the Women’s Fashion section of the Sunday Times Life & Style magazine, it’s apparently going up.

Almost as far as women’s wear rumours.
